Certificate of Appropriateness issued

 I mentioned earlier that we are in a Historic District, so we need to get approval for things that affect the look of the outside of the house. In particular fences and hardscaping.

Today we got the CoA for  the fencing and back yard (let's call it a garden!) landscaping.

The fencing will look like this:

We are going to put in a fountain that looks something like this:

We are "borrowing" the view of the neighbor's garden on the bottom of the image. Our property line is along the red dots.
